Cardiac Procedures









Introduction

This section describes the various “invasive” cardiac tests and procedures that may be required to properly diagnose and assess your symptoms or condition. These tests are called “invasive tests” as they involve placing diagnostic or therapeutic catheters or tubes within the body to take pictures of the heart and its blood vessels or to intervene to restore blood supply to the heart.
