Continuing Medical Implementation Inc. is a provincially incorporated
commercial company providing CME and CMI content to the patients and referral
base of the Ottawa Cardiovascular Centre and to the CONDOR Medical Implementation
Network.Dr. Joel Niznick is the founder and President of Continuing Medical
Implementation Inc. and has contributed the majority of the work in kind
to create this concept. CMI Inc. also provides management support to the
Ottawa Cardiovascular Centre
Authority
Educational materials have been compiled by Dr.
Joel Niznick. Materials have been reviewed by colleagues at the Ottawa
Cardiovascular Centre and vetted for utility in clinical practice.
Any medical or health advice provided and hosted on this site will only
be given by medically trained and qualified professionals unless a clear
statement is made that a piece of advice offered is from a non-medically
qualified individual or organization.
The source of information is published clinical practice
guidelines and consensus statements supplemented by newer clinical trial
information. Links to original articles or abstracts are inserted where
available and there are many more on forthcoming updates.Guidelines are
